Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS with minimum 1 year experience of Medical service preferably in any NGO. Candidate having Eye health care related experience will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clinical Tasks: Consult Eye patients, perform minor eye operations and supervise Ophthalmic Health Assistant, Rfrectionist, OT Assistant and other relevant staff members.
∎ Field Implementation: Organize eye camp for screening cataract and other eye diseases.
∎ Screen school children for refractive error correction.
∎ Organize education session on eye conditions and eye health.
∎ Monitoring & Reporting: To monitor and review project and project implementation in the field, working closely with Project Coordinator
∎ Medical Officer will also be responsible to perform other functions (not listed above) as may be required and assigned to him/her by the management of RDRS.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on Eye health related issues.
∎ Efficient to communicate with rural people
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power point)
∎ Confident in communication and good command over English and Bangla - both spoken and written;
∎ Candidate having valid motorcycle driving license will be preferred.
Salary: Tk. 43500 (Monthly)
