Education:
    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
  • MBBS degree from any BMDC-recognized medical college or university.

  • Must possess an active and valid BMDC Registration certificate.

  • Any post-graduate training (PGT) in Medicine, Surgery, or Critical Care will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirement

  • 1 to 2 year(s) of experience in a reputed hospital or clinic, preferably with experience managing indoor/cabin patients.

  • Note: Highly motivated fresh MBBS graduates who have recently completed their internship are also welcome to apply.

  • Must be willing to work in a roster-based shift system (Morning, Evening, Night).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle critical situations calmly.

  • Empathetic, patient-centric attitude, and high moral integrity.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Routine Rounds: Conduct regular, thorough rounds in the assigned cabin floors to monitor the clinical condition of admitted patients.

  • Consultant Liaison: Accompany primary Consultants/Specialists during their rounds, accurately note their clinical instructions, and ensure all treatment plans are executed promptly.

  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vitals, review laboratory/radiology reports, and update the primary consultant regarding any significant changes in a patient's condition.

  • Floor Emergencies: Act as the first responder for any sudden medical issues or emergencies on the cabin floor, providing immediate stabilization before transferring to the ICU/CCU if necessary.

  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient medical records, including admission notes, daily progress sheets, medication charts, and timely preparation of comprehensive discharge summaries.

  • Nursing Coordination: Coordinate closely with the floor nursing staff to ensure timely administration of medications, IV fluids, and scheduled diagnostic tests.

  • Patient & Family Counseling: Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their attendants regarding daily health progress, upcoming procedures, and general inquiries to maintain high patient satisfaction.

  • Shift Handover: Ensure proper, detailed handover and takeover of all cabin patients during shift changes to maintain continuity of care.
