Responsibilities & Context:

• Nursing Leadership: Supervise, direct, and evaluate the performance of nursing staff (In-charges, Senior Staff Nurses, and Junior Nurses) across all wards, ICU, CCU, and emergency departments.

• Quality of Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric clinical care and strictly enforce hospital standards, medical ethics, and safety protocols.

• Roster & Staffing: Efficiently manage daily duty rosters, shift allocations, and leave planning to ensure optimal nursing coverage at all times.

• Rounds: Conduct regular daily rounds to monitor patient conditions, verify nursing documentation, and ensure that doctors' clinical instructions are being executed perfectly.

• Infection Control: Oversee strict adherence to infection control guidelines, hygiene standards, and biomedical waste management protocols throughout the facility.

• Training & Development: Organize orientation for new nursing staff and conduct continuous on-the-job training (CME/CNE) to upgrade the team's clinical skills.

• Management Reporting: Actively participate in Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives, handle patient/attendant grievances on the floor, and provide regular performance and incident reports to hospital management.

• Inventory & Indent: Monitor the indenting, proper use, and safe storage of floor medications, emergency drugs, and medical equipment.
