• Candidates with any certificate/course relevant to Pathology & Microbiology laboratory will be given preference.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar or equivalent position, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, specimen handling, and safety protocols will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Pathology & Mi-crobiology Department. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day laboratory opera-tions by assisting in the collection, handling, labeling, processing, and preparation of clinical specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, supporting laboratory tests and pro-cedures under appropriate supervision, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping. The Laboratory Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic laboratory environment while strictly adhering to laboratory protocols, safety standards, in-fection prevention practices, and quality control requirements to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely laboratory services.

Job Responsibility:

• Collection of clinical samples.
• Process primary clinical specimens of laboratory tests.
• Transportation of samples and lab supplies.
• Cleaning and Washing of lab wares.
• Preparation of re-agents.
• Report delivery.
• Perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the supervisor.
