We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our factory. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the health and well-being of factory workers by providing basic medical care, first aid, health monitoring, and health awareness support. The Medical Assistant will work on-site at the factory and will be responsible for maintaining medical records, handling minor injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with doctors or hospitals when needed. Candidates with prior experience in industrial or garments sector healthcare will be given preference. This is a full-time position requiring a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to worker health and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and basic medical care to workers for minor injuries or illnesses.

• Respond promptly to workplace accidents or health emergencies.

• Regularly monitor workers’ vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, etc.).

• Observe and report signs of fatigue, dehydration, or other health issues common in garments industry.

• Maintain confidential and up-to-date records of treatments, medical visits, and health complaints.

• Record and report occupational injuries or illnesses to management.

• Educate workers on hygiene, proper handwashing, and disease prevention.

• Conduct awareness sessions on heat stress, menstrual hygiene, and nutrition.

• Ensure availability and proper maintenance of first aid kits across all floors.

• Monitor inventory of medicine and medical equipment; reorder as needed.

• Assist visiting factory doctors during consultations.

• Refer serious cases to hospitals and help with transportation if necessary.

• Support the health and safety team in complying with labor and health regulations.

• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and reporting to authorities when required.

• Assist in arranging vaccination campaigns, eye check-ups, or female health programs.

• Support maternity health checks for female workers.
