• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed public or private university (e.g., BUET, RUET, CUET, KUET, MIST, AUST, IUT, etc.).

• Diploma Engineers with extensive factory experience may also be considered for a junior role.
• Experience Requirements:
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial / factory mechanical maintenance, preferably in FMCG, plastic, metal, or cable manufacturing plants.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic background may apply for Trainee Mechanical Engineer positions.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Sound knowledge in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, and assembly works.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive, technically skilled, and responsible Mechanical Engineer to join our factory operations team. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving mechanical systems, production machinery, and utility equipment to ensure smooth factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and repair factory mechanical systems including boilers, compressors, pumps, conveyors, and production lines.
• Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and ensure zero breakdown of critical machines.
• Supervise installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery and production equipment.
• Analyze machine failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with the electrical and production teams for process optimization and maintenance scheduling.
• Ensure factory machinery operates safely and complies with relevant safety standards and company SOPs.
• Prepare maintenance reports, machine logs, and spare parts inventory records.
• Assist in the design and modification of mechanical systems for production efficiency improvement.
• Communicate with vendors and service providers for procurement of spare parts and maintenance services.
• Support the Factory Manager in implementing energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
