∎ Bachelor’s in any major under Social Sciences/ Statistics/ Development Studies/ Geography and Urban & Rural Planning or any other relevant subject.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 years of experience in M&E from any development or humanitarian organization.
∎ Understanding of disaster preparedness, disaster risk reduction, disaster management structures and regulatory frameworks.
∎ Professional skills in data analysis and visualization software (Power BI), competent in the use of mobile-based data collection tools (Kobo, ODK), knowledge of GIS and basic mapping skills
∎ Understanding the context of the Rohingya Refugee Crisis and experience working in Cox's Bazar would be an advantage.
∎ Communication skills in both verbal and written English and Bangla.
∎ Good communication, report writing, and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Good interpersonal and team management skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect and record output data to keep track of project activities according to logical framework and other frameworks put by donor/s.
∎ Check quality of data collection at the field level with CARE staff, volunteers, and partners (output level).
∎ Support and train CARE staff, volunteers, and partners to use quantitative data collection tools (output level).
∎ Contribute to tracking projects and program/sector progress by updating the Indicator Progress Tracking Table (IPTT) and Sector Dashboard.
∎ Participate in regular monitoring of the technical quality of project interventions to ensure that interventions are being implemented in line with (and monitored and evaluated against) CARE's Humanitarian Accountability Framework, including:
∎ The Core Humanitarian Standard.
∎ Standards for WASH, Protection, Health, DRR and livelihoods.
∎ Minimum standards in gender & disability inclusion
∎ Provide support to MEAL Lead/MEAL coordinator (logistics, data collection, data entry) to conduct various MEAL activities.
∎ Regular field visits to conduct spot monitoring, post-distribution monitoring, and qualitative and quantitative data collection.
∎ Attend regular meetings in the field as needed.

∎ This position will support all Cox's Bazar projects, and she/he will be responsible for the rollout of project MEAL plan and information management system. S/he will be monitoring outputs and tracking activities of the project. The incumbent will be responsible for overall M&E and learning needs and will come up with findings based on real data to show the performance of the program. Being part of the MEAL team, the incumbent will feed into overall MEAL system through collecting, analyzing and visualizing monitoring data and information from different sources of project/s, ensuring necessary disaggregation of beneficiary data in compliance with CARE and donor requirements and standards.
