∎ Master’s degree in social science or relevant discipline
∎ At least 3 years’ experience in similar position preferably with international non-government organizations in projects related to protection, migration, youth empowerment and climate change
∎ Good understanding of participatory M&E methods and tools
∎ Excellent analytical skills with good knowledge and experience in research and M&E methods (qualitative and/or quantitative)
∎ Excellent in using computer, and quantitative (SPSS, STATA, KoBo, SurveyCTO, Excel) and qualitative software (Atlas.ti/NVivo/Dedoose/MAXQDA) for data analysis
∎ Ability to summarize complex information and effectively deliver information to a diverse audience
∎ Able to work with stakeholders at all levels and ability to inspire people to support our work
∎ Have good interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
∎ Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla. Excellent writing skills demonstrated by a record of evaluation reports and publications.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Tdh has been present and active in Bangladesh since 1974 and focuses its work on Migration, tackling child labour, health, child protection, WASH, Access to Justice and humanitarian aid. We are currently working in Dhaka, Cox’s Bazar, Ukhia, Teknaf and Kurigram.
∎ Tdh seeks qualified candidates for the two-year Sports for Protection, Resilience and Transformation (SPiRiT) project under the consortium, Climate Action at Local Level (CALL). The MEAL Specialist will be based in Satkhira with frequent visits to the field locations.
∎ The position is responsible for designing and supporting the MEAL activities of SPiRiT project in Satkhira. The position entails to contribute and provide direct support in the development and harmonization of effective monitoring and evaluation tools and systems; the treatment, analysis and reporting of data related to implemented projects; develop survey tools and methodologies. He/she will be involved in and provide support to capacity building and training activities on M&E topics, promote the development, adaptation, testing and mainstreaming of good practices in needs assessment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning throughout the projects.
