Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree preferably in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics or equivalent with combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Location: CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to January 31, 2021
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 years of experience as M&E Officer in relevant field focused on Humanitarian and DRR activities.
∎ Proven Skill in statistical and M&E software packages. SPSS, MS Access and Excel is essential.
∎ Strong commitment to accountability, social justice, promoting gender awareness and equality.
∎ Strong analytical and conceptual skills
∎ Sound knowledge and commitment to participatory approaches in working with communities.
∎ Strong skill in coordination within internal team and with a large range of external stakeholders.
∎ Ability and willingness to work in stressful situation and travel away from home and stay in the field.
∎ Experience in working on projects from major donors such as ECHO, DFID, etc.
∎ Previous experience working with consortium an asset.
∎ Strong communication, report writing and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer skills (spreadsheets, word, databases and other programmes).
∎ Ability and willingness to quickly learn and embrace new approach and concept.
∎ Ability to work both independently and as a team-leader.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and to ensure quality delivery of results.
∎ Flexible and willing to travel during the execution of his/her assignment.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
