Job Context:
∎ USAID`s Nobo Jatra (NJ)/ New Beginning, a Food for Peace (FFP) Program for 5 years implemented by World Vision Bangladesh (WVB), World Food Programme (WFP) and Winrock International, in partnership with Bangladesh`s Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) is designed to reduce food insecurity and vulnerability for 856, 116 direct participants in 40 Unions of four Upazilas; Shyamnagar and Kaligonj under Satkhira District and Koyra and Dacope under Khulna District in the southwestern coastal area of Bangladesh.
∎ The contract duration is 06 Months.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate and take lead for the Implementation of Project Activities at union level.
∎ Assist MCHN officer in planning and execution of project activities.
∎ Take initiative to build capacity of community nutrition facilitators.
∎ Supervise and monitor project activities at union level.
∎ Establish the networking with NGOs, GO and other stakeholders at union level.
∎ Build awareness on preventable Health & Nutrition related issues.
∎ Training and monitoring of Community Nutrition Facilitators.
∎ Assist with the implementation of the Maternal and Child Health & Nutrition (MCHN) component of the USAID funded, Nobo Jatra Project.
∎ Carry out the MCHN activities of the Nobo Jatra Project, including strengthening Union level health & nutrition committee, supporting Community Nutrition Facilitators to complete health & nutrition behavior change programming.
∎ Supervise Community Nutrition Facilitators activities and provide support as needed.
∎ Supervise activities across sectors to ensure integration and coordination among different sectors at union level.
∎ Conduct group meeting and capacity building of community as well.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to drive a motorbike.
∎ Valid motorbike driving license or willingness to attain one.
∎ An understanding of project implementation.
∎ An understanding of Maternal and Child health and Nutrition practices & behaviors.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Minimum of two years of experience implementing MCHN projects.
∎ Experienced in training.

Salary:
