Job Responsibilities:
∎ Undertake monthly photography assignments across Nobo Jatra working areas to build a rich repository of thematic photos in accordance with all World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) and USAID policies.
∎ Lead the graphic design of communications products (factsheets, info graphics, technical briefs, success stories) across the project including technical teams.
∎ Develop, capture and edit short thematic video clips in consultation with the Knowledge Management (KM) and Communications Manager and Technical Leads.
∎ Pitch impact stories, ideas and share with the Nobo Jatra communications team in accordance with yearly plan and targets.
∎ Ensure information is kept as appropriate and updated on the Nobo Jatra web-page in accordance with guidelines. Also ensure that up to date information and products on Nobo Jatra are shared on the World Vision Intranet.
∎ Work closely with the KM and Communications Team to provide operational, editorial, strategic and creative support to manage overall publication works.
∎ Design, develop and publish newsletters, info graphics, research briefs, component briefs, booklets, and factsheets, update the webpage on a fortnightly basis.
∎ The position will also play a role in coordinating with supply chain team on the printing process, maintain an up to date stock take of communications products and ensure a steady supply.
∎ Gather, systematically preserve data/information/stories/ features/ news items/publication relates to organization’s operation and program for senior management and organizational reference.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent Multimedia skills including software (Microsoft Office Suite, Bangla typing, adobe, illustrator, video editing software, Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
∎ Competent English writing skills, competent in writing compelling stories, news report and press releases for fundraising, and strengthen advocacy efforts.
∎ Strong photography and video documentation skills including capturing, editing etc.
∎ Strong interpersonal, networking and organizational skills.
∎ Good presentation and communication skills.
∎ Minimum 2 years of online promotion (Intranet site) development and media interest.
∎ 30% work travel is expected. Travel to field is expected monthly/ bi-monthly to collect communication resources as and when requested by Support Offices/ Partnership or to meet National Office needs.
∎ Understanding and experience in working with children and communities in Bangladesh.
