∎ Tdh is working in Bangladesh since 1974, with operations in the north of the country (Kurigram district), in the Dhaka district and in Cox Bazaar district. Tdh is implementing programs on Health, WASH, Access to Justice (social cohesion and conflict resolution), Migration and Child protection, both in development and emergency context.
∎ Following the massive displacement of around 900,000 Rohingya people into Bangladesh, since the end of August 2017, Tdh is implementing an emergency response program to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees and host communities, notably on Child protection, WASH and Health. Tdh`s Child Protection (CP) program consists of three main components: Psychosocial Support (PSS) to children, adolescents, and caregivers; Case Management, including Alternative Care and Caring for Child Survivors, and Support to Community-based CP mechanisms.
∎ Purpose of the Post:
∎ The Maternity Supervisor bears, aside from regular midwife activities, the responsibility for all aspects of the maternity department: Prenatal/postnatal consultations, family planning consultations, gynecology consultations, labor room, delivery room, hospitalization room, and SGBV care.
∎ She/he ensures the supervision of clinical activities and guarantees the quality of midwifery care in the department according to the organization`s protocols, values, and universal hygiene standards in order to provide high-quality mother and child health (MCH) care to the population.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring that proposed emergency RH interventions are guided by guidelines and protocols, including the following services/activities: Family Planning, STIs prevention and treatment, Post Abortion Care, ANC/PNC, Facility deliveries, Emergency Obstetric Care (BEmONC) or referrals for CEmONC, and Clinical Care for Survivors of Sexual Assault (CCSAS)
∎ Ensure that all stated RH goals and objectives are met, that projects are monitored, and that reports are submitted in a timely manner
∎ Supervise maternity doctors,midwives ,nurses and other staffs of maternity.
∎ Work closely with the medical team and out reach team of tdh PHC for patient treatment and referral.
∎ Work with the PHC data team to ensure the smooth running of the data system: for data collection and facility level to weekly data compilation reports, databases, and analysis of the data to inform decisions and report-writing.
∎ Assisting the PHC Manager reporting and overall management of PHC
∎ Continuously assessing RH needs and suggesting new projects to address identified unmet needs;
∎ Promoting a culture of learning whereby lessons-learned and good practices are documented and shared for institutional memory;
∎ Any other duties as assigned by the PHC manager to enable and develop tdh programs.

∎ Experience: Essential working experience of at least 2-3 years in related jobs. Extra courses or training will be an asset.
∎ Language: English and Bengali essential and Rohingya would be an asset.
