∎ Responsible for planning, development and implementation of Home Care & Personal Care’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and overall media activities Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of marketing, communications and public relations in consultation with senior management members. Directs the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Marketing, communications and public relations
∎ With consultation from senior management, be responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of;
∎ (a) A comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the organization’s image and position in the marketplace and to the general public
∎ (b) Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
∎ (c) Develop a strong level of insights into channels, trade marketing and core business drivers; lead channel marketing primary and secondary market research, including distillation of channel data analytics into channel insights and shoppers’ insights.
∎ (d) Provide training to peers on marketing; Consumer/Shoppers / trade channels, communications and public relations
∎ (e) Ensure that the respective category departments conduct regular relevant market research, co-ordinate and oversee this activity, Monitor trends.
∎ Lead the assigned projects, such special events.
∎ 2. Planning and budgeting
∎ (a) Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing – brand/trade/shoppers/consumer/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and ensure that evaluation systems are in place relating to these goals and objectives.
∎ (b) Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales function. This should detail the year’s activities to meet agreed company’s marketing mission as well as financial objectives.
∎ (c) Responsible to achieve agreed company’s marketing/communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives
∎ (d) Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues that must be addressed providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action and implementing directives.
∎ (e) Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures to smoothening the operation of the marketing, communications, public relations function.
∎ (f) Report on developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations, governance and use this information to operate with initiative and innovation.
∎ 3. Organizational strategy
∎ (a) Work with senior staff, other staff to develop and maintain a strategic perspective
∎ (b) Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the organization’s key members
∎ (c) Act as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to institutional priorities.
∎ 4. Managing
∎ (a) Manage external and internal stakeholders and be spoke person for the company as and when required
∎ (b) Maintain an environment that attracts, retains and motivates quality people in the organization
∎ (c) Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide the team members and the people across the organization
∎ (d) Ensure effective and coordinated management within the marketing, communications and public relations function, with provision for succession.
∎ (e) Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams.
∎ (f) Effectively enable staff so they can take action on behalf of the organization by:
∎ (i) transmitting the organization’s values, vision and direction;
∎ (ii) engaging people in the meaning of the Organization;
∎ (iii) respecting and using the skills, expertise, experience and insights of people;
∎ (iv) providing direction and resources, removing barriers and helping develop people’s skills; articulating expectations and clarifying roles and relationships;
∎ (v) encouraging people to question Organizational assumptions and ask strategic questions; ensuring quality decision-making;
∎ (vi) anticipating conflicts and facilitating resolution;
∎ (vii) engaging people in process as well as tasks; encouraging people use their power, practice their authority, and accept their responsibility;
∎ (viii) modeling behavior; and coaching people to success.

∎ (v) Media management experience that directly involve TVC / Digital
