∎ • Computer skills including, Word, Excel·
∎ • Fluent in English - written and verbal·
∎ • Strong communication skills
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Create and implement policies and procedures for purchasing fabrics and accessories for on-time sampling and shipment.
∎ • Coordinate and look after the procurement-related activities of new or running projects under the Group regarding the structure of buildings, machinery, raw materials and other related things.
∎ • Source and manage a high volume of fabrics and accessories in coordination with the merchandising team.
∎ • Responsible for Development, and implementation of Supply chain policy, procedures, inventory control & distribution to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
∎ • Negotiate with suppliers to minimize cost, and lead time, and ensure a quality product and on time supplies.
∎ • Price negotiation with suppliers in favor of the company.
∎ • Ensure available materials for smooth production & operational activities. Implement proper strategy for the supply chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management, and material movement.
∎ • Ensure zero tolerance for violation of procurement policies & procedures.
∎ • Conduct Continuous Market survey to develop alternative suppliers for price competitiveness.
∎ • Co-ordinate with utility, maintenance, store, production, and accounts of various units of the Group.
∎ • Coordination & stay updated with the Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, and Admin & Accounts departments for Supply Chain activities.
∎ • Regularly communicating with the Management and report the present status accordingly.
∎ • Any other responsibility assigned by management.
