Responsibilities & Context:
Evaluating, scrutinizing and reviewing all credit proposals in light of internal and external credit policies, guidelines and circulars and place them before competent authority (MCC/EC/Board) for approval.
Recommending the approval authority, for its approval, clear policies on standards for presentation of credit proposals, financial covenants, rating standards and benchmarks.
Arranging physical visit of all prospective, existing and proposed borrowers to validate financial information, conduct CDD and EDD to ensure compliance with internal credit and investment policies, PPGs & other regulatory guidelines.
Portfolio Analysis, Preparation of Regulatory and management Reports including report to Bangladesh Bank, Report to ICC.
The implementation of the credit risk policy / strategy approved by the board.
Monitoring credit risk and ensuring compliance.
