Job Context:
∎ We are looking for dynamic and experienced talent for the immediate appointment of Manager/ Deputy Manager (Marketing & Merchandising) who has solid experience in buying house base Knit Merchandising. We are sourcing who must have substantial experience in the following areas and must be self-driven and self-motivated to take on challenges & deliver high quality results.
∎ Buying House Name: Equi-Tex Assurance.
∎ Job Location: Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing new buyers & providing support to the current buyers.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on-time shipment with the right quality and quantity.
∎ Ensure that new product development and negotiation are of the highest quality so that the right products are delivered at the right price on time.
∎ Coordinate fabric, trims, sample and garment testing with certified labs as per customer requirements.
∎ Plan and develop merchandising strategies that meets customers' expectations and company's objectives.
∎ Co-ordinate buying meetings locally and internationally.
∎ Maintain daily progress reports, with up to date information on all orders & outstanding issues. Need to proactively inform to management as per company SOP
∎ Monitor the production status and progress and solve the issues related.
∎ Follow customer procedures for order fulfillment.
∎ Work closely with the factory Merchandiser to ensure that pre-production and raw materials.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Be able to independently correspond with the Buyers.
∎ Sound knowledge on Fabric, Garments, Accessories, Print, Embroidery, Washing and other Applications.
∎ Having Organizational Management (Leadership) Quality.
∎ Having Entrepreneurial Thinking & Strategic Planning Capability
∎ Having Strong Command in written & spoken English.
