Additional Requirements:

Strong technical knowledge of sewing machine mechanisms and attachments
Experience with auto and computerized sewing machines is a plus
Skilled in guiding a large team of mechanics and helpers
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the entire maintenance department and ensure smooth functioning of all machinery and utilities.
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for all types of machines.
Monitor machine performance and ensure proper machine settings for various garment styles and fabric types.
Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of sewing machines such as Juki, Brother, Pegasus, Kansai, Jack, etc. to avoid downtime during production.
Maintain detailed records of machine history, maintenance logs, and daily service reports.
Ensure availability of spare parts by forecasting demand and managing inventory efficiently to avoid production disruption.
Train and guide junior mechanics and helpers to maintain high machine efficiency.
Collaborate with production and quality departments to ensure optimum machine utilization.
