Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the entire cutting department operations (Woven Tops & Bottoms, Jackets & Denim)
Ensure accurate fabric consumption, marker planning, and fabric utilization.
Review and approve cutting plans, lay planning, and marker efficiency.
Ensure cutting is done as per buyer specifications, size ratio, and pattern.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, CAD, Sample and store departments.
Ensure the cutting output meets daily production targets without compromising quality.
Ensure fabric is cut with minimum wastage and maximum efficiency.
Handle all pre-production activities related to cutting and ensure on-time sample delivery.
Maintain strict quality standards in fabric relaxation, laying and cutting accuracy.
Prepare and maintain all cutting-related documentation and reports.
Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a present time-frame.
Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
