Job Context:
∎ A Renowned Shipping & Logistics Company is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and coach a winning, effective and sustainable sales organization which will deliver and exceed its sales targets and achieve the business goals.
∎ Reporting to the Line In charge and Company Management, you will work closely and constructively with an objective of acquiring new customers, retaining and expanding the current customer base, ensuring high customer satisfaction and driving the country sales and business targets.
∎ It is a very challenging and rewarding role as you will coach and manage a professional sales team and work with a highly-committed leadership team in a challenging and exciting market. This will equip you with further management competencies and a track record for future career development within a Renowned Shipping & Logistics Company

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulate and execute a clear and effective sales strategy and direction in line with the Company's business plan.
∎ Liaise with Principal, Customers, Regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on account of day to days sales operation and co-ordinate with company operation team for smooth operation.
∎ Other responsibilities include Strategy Planning, Sales, Market Analysis, Tariffs, Commercial Functions, etc.
∎ Closely monitoring / assisting the sales teams in meeting the set target implemented by the Principals i.e
∎ Conducting intensive Market Analysis with complete Outbound / Inbound accountability to the Principal's.
∎ Factors include Sales; i.e.; FOB / Prepaid Contribution Reports, New Target Accounts, Sales Achievement Ratio, information on new Government Policies, Laws, Rules, Regulations and issue based Economic Progress on both Inbound and Outbound Fronts.
∎ Have regularly monitored competition activities by regularly abstracting information from the port in regards number of inventories loaded for various trade lanes, and according taking persuasive action in consultation with my senior.
∎ Gained excellent experience on operational aspects such as calculation of measurement of cargo and coordinating / instructing the process of stuffing at the nominated site.
∎ Ensure comprehensive customer coverage; align sales efforts with the commercial strategy through close collaboration with Trade & Marketing and Customer Service.
∎ Make joint sales calls with sales executives to ensure selling skills and techniques are mastered.
∎ Ensure the entire sales organization utilizes and capitalizes on our commercial pipeline and CRM (Customer Relationship Management of the company.
∎ Accountable for monitoring and maintaining a healthy business opportunity pipeline in our commercial pipeline and CRM system.
∎ Coach and inspire the sales organization to enhance performance, capabilities, knowledge and professionalism.
∎ Coach, lead and develop direct reports and others, work closely with teams and individuals to identify and improve competency gaps and devise objectives and personal development plans.
∎ Attract and retain the right talents inside and outside of the organization.
∎ Be on the lookout for any new project development on the market and set proper targeting strategy with the sales team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 02 (Two) year(s) in similar Job Area.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Shipping Agency, Freight Forwarding, Logistics
∎ You must have excellent IT skills and be familiar with industry standard software together with good Microsoft Office skills.
∎ Extensive knowledge and understanding of the customers' business coupled with supply chain and financial insights.
∎ Strong knowledge of the local market as well as industry trends.
∎ Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in sales and leadership and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Master negotiator; strong networking skills.
∎ An inspirational leader with excellent coaching and people skills.
∎ Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English and Bengali.
