JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Head of Operations & Business Development to lead our Study Abroad division. .
This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee the entire student journey—from lead generation to visa approval—while aggressively expanding our university partnerships and B2B networks.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership & Operations
• End-to-End Management: Oversee the complete student lifecycle (Inquiry → Counseling → Admission → Documentation → Visa Approval).
• Process Excellence: Monitor application processing and ensure 100% compliance with university and embassy requirements to maintain a high visa success rate.
• Country Portfolio: Manage and expand destination options (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.) and stay updated on global visa policy changes. 2. Business Development & Partnerships
• University Relations: Establish and maintain direct relationships with international universities to secure agency agreements and priority processing.
• B2B & Sub-Agent Network: Build and lead a network of sub-agents, coaching centers, and regional partners to increase lead flow.
• Corporate & Institutional Alliances: Collaborate with schools and corporate bodies for exclusive seminars and campus activations. 3. Marketing & Lead Conversion
• Growth Strategy: Develop and execute online/offline marketing plans to generate high-quality leads.
• Conversion Mastery: Supervise the counseling team to ensure high-impact sessions that convert inquiries into confirmed registrations.
• Events & Workshops: Lead "Spot Assessment Days," University Fairs, and Pre-departure briefings.
4. Team Management & HR
• Recruitment & Training: Identify, hire, and train specialized staff (Counselors, Visa Officers, and Marketing Executives).
• Performance Tracking: Set monthly targets/KPIs for the team and provide the necessary coaching to hit revenue goals. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
• Visa Success Rate: Maintaining a premium approval rate for all submitted applications.
• Enrollment Volume: Total number of successful enrollments per intake (January/September).
• B2B Revenue: Growth in business generated through sub-agent networks.
• Marketing ROI: Effectiveness of campaigns in generating high-conversion leads. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Industry Expertise: 1-2 years of solid experience in Study Abroad consultancy.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams (Operations + Marketing).
• Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (IELTS 7.5 level or equivalent) for negotiating with University Delegates and Embassy officials.
• Networking: Strong ability to pitch to Corporate Heads and Institutional Leads.
