Job Context

A. K. Khan Securities Limited, a member of DSE (#6) and CSE (#7), is looking for an experienced Business Development (Capital Market) professional with a proven track record and valid DSE/CSE authorization.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively source, approach, and convert potential investors from the open market.

• Acquire new clients with investable funds and ensure their active participation in trading.

• Drive growth in client base and trading volume through effective marketing, networking, and relationship-building activities.

• Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and portfolio growth.

• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding formalities and activation.

• Monitor financial markets, analyze trends, and interpret financial data to support client advisory and trading decisions.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) rules and guidelines.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Management as required.

  Educational Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university (local or overseas).

• Preference will be given to candidates with a background in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related disciplines.

  Experience Requirements

  At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a brokerage house, financial institution, or capital market-related organization.

  Additional Requirements

• Proven track record in acquiring new clients with investment capacity in the capital market.

• Strong understanding of the Bangladesh stock market, trading mechanisms, and investment products.

• Target-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales and brokerage goals.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.

• Sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks, particularly BSEC rules.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Working experience in CDBL VeDAS will be considered an added advantage.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team.

  Compensation & Benefits
