- We require a Manager / AGM who possesses knowledge of fabric, it’s manufacturing, dying, printing, finishing and other relevant processes
- working experience with Buyer H&M, C&A, BESTSELLER,NEXT, INDITEX, Kontoor
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure proper quality of fabrics (From fabric sourcing to shipment of garments) as per buyer requirements & management instructions.
Resolve all kinds of fabric related problems as per buyer’s guiding & management instructions.
Ensure that all test reports of fabric meet buyer’s technical requirements.
Face buyers/ Auditors/ Inspections if needed to resolve fabric related technical problems.
Support on any fabric issues, starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
Co-ordinate with the merchandising, Quality, Sourcing, and design teams to understand fabric requirements and specifications for various collections.
Work with fabric suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet our demands (as per management guidelines).
Evaluate fabric samples based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant properties.
