Experience:
12-15 years’ experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in Manufacturing organization- (Non RMG) Tyre/Cement/Steel/Food & Beverage.
Good knowledge in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & PPT) and email communication.·
Strong knowledge of vehicle and warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution management.·

1. Warehouse & Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and allocate stock for warehouse to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
Prepare daily in/out status reports, weekly, monthly, and yearly stock statements.
Issue and receive documents related to warehouse operations and maintain registers.
Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security policies.
2. Inventory & Supply Coordination
Ensure uninterrupted supply of finished goods through effective inventory supply coordination with sales regions.
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Sales to align stock levels with demand.
Implement strict controls to reduce shrinkage, damages, and obsolescence.
Coordinate with raw materials, production, warehouse, procurement, accounts, and other relevant departments for smooth operations.
3. Transport & Vehicle Management
Develop distribution plans to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery to dealers, distributors, and customers.
Supervise fleet operations, vehicle scheduling, and route optimization.
Manage drivers, helpers, and transport staff to ensure smooth operations.
Control fuel and gas consumption, and implement cost-effective logistics solutions.
Ensure all vehicle documentation, including registration, tax token, fitness, route permits, and insurance, is updated.
Oversee vehicle loading, dispatching, and timely delivery of finished goods using FIFO principles.
Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective transportation.
Monitor distribution KPIs (delivery lead time, cost per ton/km, OTIF).
Optimize inventory carrying cost.
4.Vendor & Freight Cost Management
Take full accountability for monitoring and controlling freight costs.
Negotiate costs with vendors for bulk distribution and provide appropriate solutions.
Track freight cost per ton/km and per unit delivered to ensure alignment with company budget.
Ensure proper documentation such as VAT Challan and Covered Van Challan for deliveries.
