Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead our Trading and Procurement operations. The ideal candidate will bring over 5-7 years of expertise in vendor management, supply chain coordination, risk mitigation, and cost optimization within the agribusiness or feed industry. This role is responsible for sourcing high-quality feed ingredients, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring supply chain continuity, while aligning with company goals on sustainability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

• Develop and implement agri output sourcing strategies (corn, soybean meal, wheat, bran, etc.).

• Identify and manage local supplier relationships.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing to optimize cost and supply stability.

2. Supplier & Vendor Management

• Evaluate supplier performance through audits and quality assessments.

• Reduce dependency by diversifying supplier base.

• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory procurement standards.

3. Market Analysis & Risk Mitigation

• Monitor domestic market trends for feed ingredients.

• Develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and market volatility.

• Analyze competitor activities to ensure competitive positioning.

4. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate warehousing and distribution to reduce wastage and holding costs.

• Oversee logistics partners for timely and cost-effective delivery.

5. Budget & Cost Management

• Prepare and manage annual procurement budgets.

• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

• Track expenditures and report on cost-efficiency KPIs.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all procurement adheres to national regulatory frameworks.

• Collaborate with QA teams to maintain safety and ethical sourcing.

• Uphold standards for sustainable and responsible procurement.

7. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor procurement and trading team members.

• Facilitate training on sourcing strategies, negotiation skills, and compliance.

• Build a results-driven and collaborative team culture.

8. Reporting & Communication

• Present procurement reports and market insights to senior leadership.

• Maintain transparent communication with finance, sales, and production departments.

• Provide regular updates on supplier performance and procurement KPIs.
