MANAGEMENT TRAINEE OFFICER [Field Operations]

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from any UGC-approved university.(Graduation in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or Agricultural Extension will be preferred.)

• Minimum CGPA: 3.00 or above

• Strong interest in agriculture, agri-finance, or rural development

• Open to challenges and continuous learning

• Passionate about working with farmers and rural communities

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with prior experience (internship/1 year+) in a related field are also.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and verify farmer selection to ensure eligibility and transparency

• Guide, train, and motivate field officers to achieve performance standards

• Plan and assign area-level targets and monitor progress regularly

• Conduct field visits to ensure quality implementation and farmer engagement

• Review and validate reports and data submitted by field officers

• Maintain coordination with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders

• Identify and resolve field issues, escalating major concerns to Head Office

• Manage logistics and resources for smooth field operations

• Evaluate field staff performance and provide feedback for improvement

• Ensure effective communication and reporting between field teams and Head Office

 Important to Remember

• Placement will be at any WeGro project location across Bangladesh

• Selected candidates must be willing to spend at least 6 months in field operations as part of the program
