Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Finance/Accounting, partly qualified in CA/CMA/ACCA,
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records in respect of Income Tax and VAT related issues; TDS, VDS, AIT & other hearing-related issues;
∎ Maintain statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (Internal & External), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities;
∎ Confirm proper Application of Income Tax Act 2023 and VAT & Supplementary Duties Act 2012;
∎ Prepare & submit monthly TAX return (U/s-177) and related documents to TAX authority in timely manner;
∎ Prepare & submit information regarding payment of Salary u/s-108, 108A; Withholding Tax Return u/s 75A, and Advance Tax u/s 64;
∎ Prepare & submit VAT returns, Monthly TDS returns, issue VAT forms like VAT-6.3, VAT-6.6 & others relevant activities as required;
∎ Prepare & submit yearly Returns with due documentation in the RJSC;
∎ Calculation of Taxable income and preparation of annual Corporate Tax return and submit to applicable authorities and obtain final assessment order and Tax clearance certificate;
∎ Keep regular liaison & work with company nominated Consultants of both Income Tax and VAT;
∎ Ensure compliances & dealing matters related to Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal, as well as Higher Court when needed in respect of Income Tax and VAT;
∎ Any other related tasks assigned by the Management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years (mandatory) in the area of Income Tax and VAT Management;
∎ Good Knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax and VAT Laws (e.g.; Income Tax Act-2023 and manuals, VAT Act 2012 and Manuals, their amendments; SRO etc.);
Salary: Negotiable
