∎ Age 35 to 46 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the finishing process for denim garments, ensuring high quality and timely completion.
∎ Responsible for collecting the production plan specifying PO size, lead time for Finishing and order sheet from the Planning Department.
∎ Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that finished denim garments meet established standards and customer expectations.
∎ Receive IE Bulletin mentioning men, machine plan with SMV spelt out against each process for one single style.
∎ Follow up monthly shipments schedule that is given by management and hence assure the shipments goods are ready for on time delivery.
∎ Attend in PP Meeting Headed either by Planning Department and QA Departmental Head.
∎ To collect PP File containing shed/shrinkage, cutting plan based on PO delivery date, Style wise, color and PO wise.
∎ Collecting approved sample, against order sheet.
∎ Ensure zero defects of shipment goods as per buyer's requirement and minimize the re-inspection of goods.
∎ Ensuring that apparel production lines are properly balanced for target output based on skill matrix.
∎ Continuously evaluate the finishing process to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced quality.
∎ Supervise and train a team of finishing technicians and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate execution of finishing tasks.
∎ Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for finishing equipment, ensuring that machines are properly maintained and in good working condition.
∎ Identify training needs and provide training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the finishing team, keeping them updated on new techniques, technologies, and industry trends.
∎ Maintain accurate records of finishing processes, including production reports, quality inspection results, and any relevant documentation required for compliance or audits.
∎ Collaborate with the design, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication throughout the garment production process.
