Education:

  • B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or relevant discipline

  • Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage (CCNA/CCNP, SIP, VoIP, Linux, etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SIP-based IP Core Network

  • Experience in Telecom Operator IPTSP / ICX / IGW / VoIP Service Provider environment will be highly preferred

  • Practical exposure to live production network is mandatory

  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based SIP platforms and open-source telephony systems

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in 24×7 telecom environment

  • Good communication skills (technical & operational)

  • Team player with proactive attitude

Leadership and Management Skills:

  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams

  • Strong Project management and coordination skill

  • Ability to develop SOPs, Monitor performance and implement best protracts.

  • Knowledge of Bangladesh telecom regulatory environment is a plus

  • Documentation & reporting skills

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Experience with IMS / VoLTE architecture

  • Exposure to Fraud detection / SIP security

  • Automation or scripting knowledge (Bash / Python – basic)



Responsibilities & Context:

Presently we are looking for dynamic, committed and self-motivated personnel for the following position:

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Core SIP & VoIP

  • Strong understanding of SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP

  • SIP call flow analysis (INVITE, 180, 183, 200 OK, ACK, BYE)

  • Experience in SIP troubleshooting using Wireshark / sngrep

  • Knowledge of NAT, Firewall traversal, SIP ALG issues

IP Core Network

  • Strong knowledge of IP Routing & Switching

  • TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, NAT

  • Static & Dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP – basic understanding)

  • Experience with QoS, latency, jitter, packet loss

Linux SIP Tools & Platforms

  • Strong hands-on experience with Asterisk-based Client–Server Maintenance (Front-end & Back-end)

  • Experience with PBX platforms:

  • Issabel PBX

  • Vicidial Call Center

  • GoAutoDial Call Center

  • Elastix PBX

  • Asterisk on CentOS 7 / Ubuntu

  • Grandstream IP PBX systems

  • Configuration and maintenance of FXS Gateway (ATA devices)

  • Call routing, dial-plan configuration, trunk management, and SIP registration handling

  • Experience in call center deployment, campaign setup, IVR, and queue management

Telecom Core Elements (Any of the following)

  • SIP Softswitch (Class-4 / Class-5)

  • SBC (Session Border Controller)

  • Media Gateway / Signaling Gateway

  • Experience with vendors like Huawei, ZTE, Oracle, Cisco, AudioCodes, Genband, Metaswitch, PortaOne (any)

Linux & System

  • Good command on Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu)

  • Basic system administration:

  • Services, logs, CPU/RAM monitoring

  • Network tools (ping, traceroute, netstat, tcpdump)

  • Experience with VMware / Virtualization is a plus

Monitoring & Tools

  • Experience using NMS / Monitoring tools

  • CDR analysis, ASR, ACD, PDD, CCR monitoring

  • Traffic & call quality analysis

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Configuration, operation & maintenance of SIP/IP Core Network

  • Deployment and maintenance of Asterisk-based PBX & Call Center solutions

  • Daily monitoring of live traffic and call quality

  • Troubleshooting call failures, one-way audio, no audio, call drops

  • Interconnection management with Operators / ICX / IGW / International Carriers

  • Handling maintenance, upgrades, and emergency restoration

  • Coordination with vendors and carriers for issue resolution
