Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: 7 - 8 years of experience; 3 – 4 years as a Manager in any Fertilizer/Seed company.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide sales teams across regions.
∎ Proven experience in channel sales and dealer/distributor management, particularly in agri-input industries.
∎ Familiarity with farming practices, government regulations, and certification processes related to organic fertilizers & seed.
∎ Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a data-driven approach.
∎ Willingness and ability to travel extensively across rural and semi-urban areas in Bangladesh for field visits, dealer management, training, and promotional activities.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in organic fertilizer and seed segments, ensuring alignment with company goals and market potential.
∎ Lead and manage the sales team by setting performance targets, monitoring progress, and providing training and guidance to enhance productivity and efficiency.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and channel partners to ensure consistent sales performance and market penetration.
∎ Ensure timely credit recovery by monitoring sales receivables and enforcing effective collection strategies in coordination with the field force.
∎ Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including farmer meetings, dealer workshops, and field demonstrations in collaboration with retailers and DAE officials to increase brand awareness and sales.
∎ Evaluate product performance in the field, gather feedback from farmers, identify quality issues, and coordinate with the production team to maintain product consistency and standards.
∎ Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends to determine optimal product pricing and enhance profitability.
∎ Ensure regulatory compliance by managing the documentation, renewal, and submission of licenses, registrations, and environmental clearance certificates for compost and seed-related operations.
∎ Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams such as production, marketing, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
∎ Prepare and present periodic sales reports, market insights, and business forecasts to the senior management team.
∎ Travel extensively to oversee market activities, build dealer/farmer relationships, and ensure visibility in key business zones.
