Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Production Management.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
10+ years of experience in RMG Industry, of which 03 years in overseeing RMG operations.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant personality.
Must be efficient on manipulate & dealing with subordinate manpower properly.
Good knowledge/ awareness of Quality control policy & compliance terms.
Must be capable to perform with under pressure & circumstance related strategy to overcome from any quality worse situation.
Proven track record in managing large-scale knitwear or apparel operations.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Summary:
The RMG Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end production and operational activities in our ready-made garments manufacturing facility. This role ensures timely delivery, quality control, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, while managing cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution
Develop and implement production schedules aligned with order deadlines.
Manage daily operations across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing sections.
Coordinate with merchandising, procurement, and production teams to ensure material availability.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Monitor daily production targets and resolve bottlenecks.
Quality Assurance
Enforce quality control protocols across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing stages.
Collaborate with QA teams to reduce defects and rework.
Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and international standards.
Workforce & Team Management
Supervise line managers, supervisors, and floor staff.
Conduct training programs to improve productivity and skill levels.
Manage shift schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Cost & Efficiency Optimization
Analyze production costs and identify areas for savings.
Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Track KPIs such as efficiency, rejection rate, and on-time delivery.
Compliance & Safety
Maintain health and safety protocols across the facility.
Prepare documentation for compliance inspections and buyer audits.
Inventory Management
Oversee raw material inventory and consumption tracking.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior management.
Communicate with buyers, merchandisers, and vendors regarding order status.
Lead regular review meetings to assess progress and address issues.
