Experience:

• At least 13 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• B.Sc./Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering from a reputed university

• Certification in industrial maintenance or utility management preferred.

• Training in PLC, automation, or energy management will be an added advantage.

Note: Education qualification might be relaxed for experienced candidates

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems   

• The ability to quickly identify and solve complex mechanical problems.

• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and sustainability standards

• Familiarity with various types and models of industrial and domestic sewing machines.

• Controlling the sectional technicians by proper guidance and administration.

• Coordination and allocating the technicians and under staff according to their performance.

• Improving overall sectional manpower, supervise and lead maintenance technicians and junior engineers, working efficiency, activities and responsibility, quality checking & identifying sectional tools and instruments, fault finding, rectifying & reducing the idle time of machines & periodic maintenance.

• Responsible for Utility operation and maintenance.

• Coordinating & communicating with other departments to fulfill the production target & to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with production schedules.

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Maintain machine logs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.

• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues & Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.

• Coordinate with production, planning, and quality departments to minimize downtime.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, energy efficiency, and environmental standards.

• Train sewing machine operators on proper maintenance best practices and equipment safety.

• Performing routine maintenance like cleaning and oiling, inspecting sewing machines to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults and their components and keeping accurate service records.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with different sewing machine models, and excellent hand-eye coordination

• Calibrate and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and stitch quality.
