Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Statistics/Economics/Sociology/Public administration/international relations/Development studies/Anthropology or other relevant subjects.
∎ Candidates with a 3rd division or a CGPA of less than 2 on a scale of 4 or 2.5 on a scale of 5 at any stage of their education need not apply.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carrying out quantitative data analysis of existing secondary data sets and primary quantitative data, using Excel and SPSS or using modern statistical software.
∎ Organizing, designing, and carrying out qualitative fieldwork.
∎ Conducting qualitative analysis of data conducted through interviews, focus groups, workshops, or other methods.
∎ Working closely with others as part of a team and with external stakeholders to manage relationships and deliver work.
∎ Producing high-quality and varied research outputs for a range of audiences including analysis, report writing, and presentations where necessary.
∎ Taking responsibility for data and project management and administration as it relates to delivering work.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 3 years relevant work experience Maximum.
∎ For more experienced candidates, the age limit will be relaxed.
∎ Basic computer skills in MS Office.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Bengali & English.
∎ Experience in designing quantitative research tools.
∎ Experience in quantitative and statistical data analysis, including large existing data sets, using Excel and SPSS or using modern statistical software.
∎ Experience in designing qualitative research tools.
∎ Experience in conducting and organizing qualitative fieldwork.
∎ Evidence of ability to grasp complex concepts and debates quickly and to engage with these effectively through research.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively – in writing and in person - about research findings to a range of audiences.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 30,392 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy. The next salary will be increased on the anniversary of joining the service depending on satisfactory performance.
Other Benefits: CPF, Gratuity, Festival bonus, Annual Increment, Incentive Bonus, Promotion Opportunity, Other benefits as per organization policy.
