Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 30 years
  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in garment quality control, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction, sewing, finishing, and inspection processes.

  • Familiarity with AQL, buyer SOPs (e.g., Walmart, H&M, Zara, etc.), and audit protocols.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus.

  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proactive and detail-oriented.

  • Experience with sustainable production and quality practices.

  • Ability to train and mentor QC teams.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement garment quality control policies and procedures.

  • Conduct inline and final inspections to meet buyer quality standards.

  • Monitor fabric, trims, and accessories for quality issues before production.

  • Liaise with buyers, merchandisers, and production teams to align on quality expectations.

  • Analyse root causes of defects and non-conformities; initiate corrective actions.Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

  • Train and supervise inline QC inspectors and ensure their adherence to SOPs.

  • Ensure compliance with all buyer-specific audit protocols and standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection rates and rework.

  • Manage quality-related reports and KPIs (AQL pass rates, defect trends, etc.).

  • Lead the GPQ team to maintain consistent quality standards across the production floor.
