Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or industry-specific requirements).
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements across all operations.
- Establish quality policies, procedures, manuals, and documentation to standardize processes.
- Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits and certification processes.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs.
- Train, mentor, and raise awareness among employees about QMS policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, supply chain, R&D, HR, etc.) to ensure quality integration into all business processes.
- Ensure proper document control and records management as per QMS requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Report regularly to senior management or HOD on QMS performance, risks, and improvement plans.
- Act as the key contact for certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure effective supplier quality management and evaluate vendor compliance.
- Oversee risk management, change management, and quality-related compliance projects.
