Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish, coach and guide the factory on a production process aligned to organizations policy deployment.
∎ Emphasize on a production process based on flow lines, product families, pull manufacturing and JIT rather than traditional push manufacturing.
∎ Establish ways to measure performance at each key transition points, frequent reviews, analyze problems, brainstorm, develop countermeasures, implement actions and continuously improve the standard.
∎ Systematic problem solving and continuous improvement drive at all levels of the organization.
∎ Create a culture of in-built quality and meet all key performance indicators such as budgeted efficiency, budgeted standard hours, FTT, PTP and OTP.
∎ Give leadership and facilitate supporting departments and its initiatives such as PCU/QCO/NPI.
∎ Manage the operations with utmost adherence to the local and international compliance requirements, prominence to safety and mutual respect at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 years' experience in Apparel Industry with at least 5 years' experience in a managerial position
∎ At least 5 years' experience in managing a sizable apparel factory as a Production Manager
∎ Experience in Active Wear/Sportswear is essential
∎ Strong leadership with sound communication skills and exposure to lean manufacturing will be an added advantage
∎ Working experience in a double shift factory is highly desirable
