Responsibilities & Context:
To collect the daily, weekly & monthly production plan sheet from the planning dept.
Oversee the entire production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently
Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, and production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines
Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) of finished products to the next production line or department.
Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling, and taking timely decisions.
Monitor product standards and enforce quality control programs in accordance with QMS guidelines.
Physical supervision & checking of cutting, sewing, quality & finishing section for quality production.
Supervision, controlling the workers on respective floors.
Minimize Non-Productive Time (NPD) of machinery and reduce process material loss and Cost Per Minute (CPM).
Drive manpower optimization and reduce Excess Over Time (EOT).
Coordinate and delegate daily production tasks as per finalized production schedules from Pre-Production Planning (PPP) meetings.
Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Fixing the production target and taking necessary action for failing to meet the target.
Understand and support sample assessments, pattern making, production, and garment construction.
Any additional tasks that upper management assigns.
