To strengthen our operational and client servicing capacity, we are looking for a highly competent and experienced Manager – Procurement (Mechanical Engineer) who will oversee procurement operations, vendor management, technical evaluation, and coordination with international clients.
The ideal candidate must have a Mechanical Engineering background and strong experience in procurement, especially related to manpower recruitment and overseas project requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage overall procurement activities of the company.
Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
Prepare comparative statements (CS) and procurement reports.
Coordinate with overseas clients regarding technical manpower requirements.
Analyze technical specifications and support recruitment team for proper candidate sourcing.
Maintain vendor database and develop new supplier networks.
Ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations.
Maintain proper documentation and compliance with company policy.
Work closely with accounts, store and operations department.
Assist management in strategic procurement planning.
Support recruitment team in technical screening if required.
Maintain regular client communication and coordination through social media platforms when necessary.
