Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: Career Opportunity at 100% leading Export Oriented Activewear Factory in Planning Department.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall operation of Planning Department.
Sound and solid planning and follow up total production flow and balancing the production process to ensure optimum capacity utilization of the unit.
Execute and monitor the production planning process including production order review, material shortage review, and inventory status.
Figure out deviations and assist in making rectification to future production plans based on the differences between planned and actual production in the past plan period.
Coordination with marketing and merchandising team, Buyers approval, Planning, Allocation, Shipment planning, Costing, Inter departmental issues and Administration etc.
Total follow up from Yarn receiving to Finished Goods delivery.
Coordinate activities with the Supply Chain organization and review material positions so that alternate solutions, if required, are developed to ensure on-time customer delivery.
Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of it.
Drive improvements to the overall process efficiency and communication with key stakeholders.
Improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through Integrated Planning Information and analysis.
Update information on key operational and cost parameters at every stage of the overall process.
Participate in cross-functional teams supporting existing and new products from prototype to volume production.
Provide necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance efficiency.
Co-ordinate with Sales & Marketing department for optimal pricing/production/lead time/shipment.
Ensure optimum utilization of men and machines.
