Job Summary:
The Manager, Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring smooth functioning the club facilities. This role involves overseeing all the departments, including the residence, security, restaurant & café, banquet halls, stores to maintain high standards of service and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the club’s daily security arrangements, ensure they are adequate, and prepare detailed reports for submission to the Club Office.
Conduct daily inspections of all operational departments, including but not limited to: Restaurant, Café & Bakery, Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Badminton, Squash, Tennis Courts, Physiotherapy, Bar, Tavern, Beauty Parlour, Barbershop, The Residence, Rest House, Banquet Halls, and ongoing renovation/maintenance projects. Submit a comprehensive progress report in writing to the Club Secretary.
Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire club premises, including old and new buildings, basements, staircases, elevators, lawns, driveways, boundary walls, and surrounding areas. Oversee on-call housekeeping for lobby and office spaces, pest control measures, fire safety protocols, and submit written report to the Club Secretary.
Monitor the appearance, punctuality, and overall discipline of club employees. Address staff grievances, ensure compliance with dress codes, and prepare reports for the Club Secretary.
Attend meetings of various committees as directed, take notes, prepare minutes, and obtain necessary approvals from the Club Secretary.
Supervise and monitor club events and programs, ensuring all arrangements are in place and providing regular updates to the Club Secretary.
Oversee staff health and hygiene, particularly in the staff mess and among those handling food and beverages. Ensure regular medical check-ups for chefs, cooks, and relevant personnel, and maintain proper records.
Collect daily reports from the central and F&B stores. Inspect the quality of incoming perishable items, verify quantities against memos/challans, and provide updates to the Club Secretary.
Assist the Club President with secretarial tasks and support during social commitments or engagements, as required.
Undertake any additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by the Club Secretariat to ensure smooth operations.
