Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should be capable of handling & communicating with the buyer and supplier individually and negotiating Export orders for the company.
∎ Should have proper knowledge of different types of Terry Towel costing/calculation, product prices and negotiation with buyers and suppliers.
∎ Should have vast experience in Terry Towel Industries, like open costing, direct buyer dealing.
∎ Lead the terry towel merchandising department and supervise a team of merchandisers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional performance.
∎ Utilize your 8-10 years of industry experience to provide expert insights and guidance in developing terry towel product lines that cater to market demands and customer preferences.
∎ Collaborate closely with the design, production, and sourcing teams to drive the creation and execution of terry towel collections that adhere to the highest quality standards.
∎ Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of emerging trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior in the terry towel segment.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with terry towel suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring on-time delivery of products.
∎ Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback related to terry towel products, making data-driven decisions to optimize merchandise offerings.
∎ Implement effective pricing strategies that strike a balance between profitability and competitive positioning in the terry towel market.
∎ Oversee supply chain and logistics processes, optimizing inventory management, and minimizing lead times.
∎ Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry regulations throughout the terry towel merchandising process.
∎ Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns for terry towel collections.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ MBA in Marketing or B.Sc. in Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications or specialized training in terry towel merchandising will be highly advantageous.
∎ A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in the terry towel industry, with a significant portion in a managerial or leadership role.
∎ Expertise in terry towel product development, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
∎ Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis, using relevant software tools to drive informed merchandising decisions.
∎ Creative and innovative mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for growth and improvement in the terry towel segment.
∎ Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
∎ Willingness to travel as needed for supplier visits, trade shows, and other business-related events.
