∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Textile Engineering/Bachelors in Apparel Merchandising, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Merchandising /Apparels merchandising from any reputed University with 1st Class / 1st Class equivalent CGPA.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Product Development:
∎ Collaborate with design and production teams to develop garment concepts and prototypes.
∎ Ensure that the design concepts are feasible for woven fabric and can be produced within budget and timeline constraints.
∎ Sourcing and Supplier Management:
∎ Identify and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers for woven fabrics and garment production.
∎ Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
∎ Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise.
∎ Production Planning:
∎ Create production plans and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of garments.
∎ Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient resource utilization.
∎ Quality Control:
∎ Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that woven garments meet established standards.
∎ Address quality issues promptly and work with suppliers to resolve them.
∎ Cost Management:
∎ Monitor and control production costs to ensure products are produced within budget.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
∎ Market Research and Trend Analysis:
∎ Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market competition.
∎ Use market research to make informed decisions about product offerings.
∎ Team Leadership:
∎ Lead and motivate a team of merchandisers, designers, and production staff.
∎ Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve company objectives.
∎ Communication:
∎ Maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
∎ Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Several years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the woven garments sector.
∎ Strong knowledge of garment production processes and quality control.
∎ Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
∎ Leadership and team management abilities.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and merchandising.
∎ Willingness to travel to meet with suppliers and attend trade shows.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ A passion for fashion and a keen eye for design trends.
