Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies;
∎ Manage efficient sourcing of fabrics & accessories as per season's range plan and check consumption;
∎ Forecast, price setting, and negotiating quantities with suppliers and distributors; Negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers about price and other issues;
∎ Ensure sourcing of sub-contract, preparation of work order, follow-up quality production and ensure on-time payment;
∎ Ensure necessary fabrics, accessories, and materials for production as per requirement;
∎ Identify trends and monitoring supply and demand;
∎ Coordinate with the Production Team to meet the lead time;
∎ Coordinate with a cross-functional team like Design, Production along with Printing, Embroidery, and washing to maintain on-time completion;
∎ Identify, Evaluate the suppliers and place orders with the right supplier;
∎ Maintain proper execution according to 'Time and Action Plan' regularly to ensure on-time delivery with appropriate quality and quantity;
∎ Work closely with Quality Assurance Department to ensure best final product;
∎ Keep close contact with the store to know the actual In-house status of fabric and inform the same to factory Management well ahead;
∎ Ensure smooth communication with internal & external stakeholders;
∎ Analyze fabric specifications, color, quality, defects, etc;
∎ Carry out any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicant should have at least 2 year experience in the same position;
∎ Strong knowledge on merchandising with retail product flow;
∎ Self-driven, results-oriented & having good interpersonal relationship;
∎ Ability to coach and train subordinate on subject expert knowledge;
∎ Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills;
