Context:

The Manager – Maintenance is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, efficient maintenance operations, and smooth functioning of all production and utility systems. The role involves leading preventive and corrective maintenance, managing technical teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth factory operations.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production machines (injection & blow molding), including process control (temperature, pressure, cycle time) and key components (heaters, thermocouples, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, cooling systems).

• Manage maintenance of all utilities (generators, compressors, substations, transformers, cooling systems) while optimizing energy usage and efficiency.

• Lead troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance, and root cause analysis to ensure quick issue resolution and production continuity.

• Supervise mold and tool room maintenance to ensure molds are always production-ready.

• Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.

• Ensure availability and control of spare parts inventory with effective cost management.

• Enforce safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards, including regular audits and adherence to regulations.

• Lead, train, and manage maintenance team performance, ensuring efficient manpower utilization and a preventive maintenance culture.
