Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Industrial Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish, coach and guide the factory on Industrial IE principles aligned to organizations policy deployment.
∎ Coordination with front end teams and planning team to increase the probability of silhouette planning and product repeatability by rationalization of products and developing chassis.
∎ Lay the foundation by engaging with PDC on OBD preparation, carry out SMV Costing, layout preparation / simulation and method simplification.
∎ Initiate the perfect kickoff with the aid of NPI, QCO and eventually achieving first 5 day efficiencies.
∎ Assist the production team to improve efficiency and quality by work place improvement, STW, capacity studies and achieving costing SMV's.
∎ Establish ways to measure performance at each key transition points, frequent reviews, analyze problems, brainstorm, develop countermeasures, implement actions and continuously improve the standard.
∎ Systematic problem solving and continuous improvement drive at all levels of the organization.
∎ Create a culture of in-built quality and meet all key performance indicators such as budgeted efficiency, budgeted standard hours, FTT, PTP and OTP.
∎ Manage the operations with utmost adherence to the local and international compliance requirements, prominence to safety and mutual respect at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in managing a sizable apparel factory as an IE Manager.
