Experience:
Candidate should have at least 05 Years Experience in a managerial position or leadership role;
Candidate should have high level communication & Negotiation level with Foreign Buyers & Delegates;
Strong knowledge of garment construction, quality control systems, and international AQL standards.
Skilled in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP/QA management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Job Summary:
This position (Garments Quality Assurance) is responsible for leading the entire QA function across the production floor, ensuring products meet buyer specifications and international quality standards. This role involves strategic planning, implementation of quality control systems, team leadership, and close coordination with cross-functional teams to maintain a strong quality culture and reduce quality-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Management:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality assurance systems and SOPs across the production line;
Ensure buyer quality standards, AQL levels, and compliance protocols are strictly followedl;
Lead pre-production meetings (PPM) to align quality expectations with production, merchandising, and technical teams;
Quality Oversight:
Oversee all in-line, end-line, and final inspections across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing;
Monitor defect trends and ensure implementation of effective root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions;
Approve all PP samples, size set, TOP samples, and production pieces from a quality standpoint;
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of QA Executives, In-Line QCs, and Final Inspectors;
Provide training and guidance to QA staff on buyer requirements, inspection procedures, and quality improvement techniques;
Set KPIs for the QA team and regularly review performance;
Audit & Compliance:
Lead buyer audits (inline/final) and third-party inspections;
Ensure documentation and traceability of quality control processes as per buyer and internal standards;
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards;
Reporting & Coordination:
Provide daily/weekly quality reports to senior management and buyers as required;
Coordinate with the production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve quality issues proactively;
Communicate directly with buyers/clients on technical and quality-related matters when required;
