• Strong understanding of SMV calculation, line balancing, and garment manufacturing processes;

• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles;

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and production analysis tools;

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced production environment;

• Effective communication skills in Bengali and English.

This Position (Executive/Senior Executive – Industrial Engineering) will be responsible for supporting production efficiency through accurate time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity improvements. This role involves close coordination with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and methods to achieve the targeted output.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Efficiency & Line Support:

• Conduct time and motion studies for different operations to determine Standard Minute Value (SMV).

• Assist in line layout planning based on style requirements and operator skill level.

• Monitor daily line performance, identify bottlenecks, and support line supervisors with corrective actions.

• Analyze worker performance and help in improving individual and overall line efficiency.

Planning & Optimization:

• Participate in capacity planning and line loading to ensure smooth order execution.

• Help implement Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Waste Reduction techniques.

• Assist in pre-production meetings and layout planning based on order complexity and machine availability.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate production data, efficiency reports, and operator performance records.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly IE reports and submit them to the IE Manager.

• Support the digitization of IE activities if applicable.

Continuous Improvement:

• Recommend methods and processes to improve productivity and reduce non-value-added activities;

• Assist in training workers to optimize motion and increase efficiency;

• Participate in pilot runs and track results to establish the best production method;
