Additional Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of experience in Fabric Sourcing / Product Development.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in woven fabric sourcing.

  • Experience working with international buyers is preferred.

  • Strong expertise in woven fabrics, constructions, finishes, and costing.

  • Sound knowledge of global fabric trends and seasonal developments.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Ability to lead and guide a sourcing team.

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, costing sheets, and reporting



Responsibilities & Context:

he Manager – Fabric Sourcing (Woven) will lead seasonal fabric sourcing strategies aligned with design direction, buyer expectations, cost targets, and production timelines. The role requires strong market knowledge, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to support successful product development.

  • Lead and execute seasonal fabric sourcing strategies for woven garments

  • Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to understand seasonal concepts and buyer requirements

  • Source trend-focused woven fabrics, finishes, washes, and developments aligned with collections

  • Research global and local fabric trends, innovations, and raw material movements

  • Develop, evaluate, and manage a reliable woven fabric supplier base

  • Negotiate cost, MOQ, lead time, and quality standards with suppliers

  • Translate design concepts into commercially viable sourcing solutions

  • Ensure timely fabric development, approvals, and bulk readiness

  • Maintain accurate costing, supplier records, and seasonal sourcing documentation

  • Monitor fabric performance, quality risks, and compliance issues
