Experience:
Minimum graduation or equivalent degree (BBA/MBA in Marketing preferred)
Minimum 7 years of experience in agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, agribusiness, or international business development, with at least 2 years of experience in African markets.
Strong expertise in dealer/distributor development, institutional sales, market expansion, and cross-cultural business operations will be preferred.
Job Context
To drive business growth for agricultural machinery in Senegal and other assigned African markets by identifying new business opportunities, developing dealer/distributor networks, increasing market penetration, ensuring sales growth, supporting after-sales service operations, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, government agencies, financial institutions, and business partners.
Principal Accountabilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify new business opportunities in Senegal and other African markets.
Develop market entry strategies and expand dealer/distributor networks.
Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, customer demand, and regulations.
Explore institutional sales opportunities with governments, NGOs, and corporate clients.
Sales & Distribution Management
Achieve sales targets for agricultural machinery products.
Manage distributors/dealers to ensure market coverage and growth.
Negotiate business deals and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy business transactions.
Service & Marketing Support
Ensure effective after-sales service and spare parts support.
Handle customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
Organize product demonstrations, promotional campaigns, trade fairs, and market activation programs.
Reporting & Team Development
Prepare regular sales and market performance reports.
Share market insights and growth recommendations with management.
Train dealer teams and support capability development of local partners.
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
