Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute the operational system process for 100 m3/hr. Biological ETP
∎ To Keep under Microscopic observation of Micro-Organisms/bacteria of ETP and taking idea about plant condition.
∎ Conduct internal audit for chemical store, EMS and chemical Management and water, prepare audit report with proper guidelines and suggestions and share it with relevant personnel and management.
∎ Monitor and follow-up ETP and guide ETP operator to run ETP smoothly for better performance of ETP and test Boiler & WRP water (Such as Hardness, TDS, pH) and maintain register.
∎ Experienced Familiar to run ETP Laboratory and all water testing machine ( for pH , DO, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS color, spectrophotometer) for regular testing of discharge water parameters.
∎ Conduct ETP wastewater test periodically by DoE ( Department of Environment) and Maintain ETP discharge water parameter according to DoE and ZDHC guideline;
∎ Apply and Renewal of ECC, CPP yearly basis from DoE and maintain close communication with DoE;
∎ Liaise with govern body and different buyer and maintain up to date all audit CAP, buyer visit, internal and external audit and update time to time to higher management.
∎ Handle Environment and Chemical management projects.
∎ Maintain and practical knowledge in Higg FEM, CleanChain, ZDHC Gateway, IPE Detox, CDP, CPI2, C2C EIG and Carbon Leadership Project.
∎ Handle different buyer audit like as GOTS, RCS, OCS, Oekotex, chemical management audit, EMS audit, water and energy audit,
∎ Update Chemical Inventory in monthly basis for process and non-process chemicals & conduct local/Bangla MSDS/SDS and label for all chemical in all chemical using area. Ensure MSDS, labelling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, ETP, spot removing room and all relevant applicable area.
∎ To take a lead role in the Group Company's aims regarding environmental performance with particular reference to water, energy, water, waste, chemicals etc.
∎ Dealing with authorized legal environmental departments regarding environmental activities of Bangladesh.
∎ Establish the ISO 14001:2015 requirement and Environment Management System.
∎ Promote the water and energy efficiency and awareness campaigns, trainings.
∎ Monitoring and record keeping of consumption of fossil fuel, purchase electricity, water and waste production within the company and set targets for consumption in conjunction with other staff for Higg.
∎ Chemical related risk assessment & root cause analysis if any sample/bulk failure occurs
∎ Analysis of MSDS & TDS (CAS No. & Restricted Substances List -APEO, AZO, Formaldehyde, Heavy Metal Content etc.) for all chemical of the company
∎ Chemical test Report Evaluation both for fabric and ETP outlet discharge water regarding ZDHC standard
∎ Analysis of REACH, BLUE SIGN, GOTs, EPA,OEKO TEX100 certification of different chemical suppliers
∎ Provide training to related personnel regarding Safe Chemical Handling, PPE, Health & Safety, Formaldehyde Awareness and chemical compliance issues Coordinate with chemical suppliers through supply chain for collecting Supplier Evaluation Assessment, MSDS,TDS and Certificate.
∎ Any other task assigns by management.
