∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or Environmental Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all environmental requirements per Local & International standards for a sustainable EMS.
∎ To identify significant environmental aspects & impacts.
∎ To conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA) and implement an ecological management Plan (EMP)
∎ To update the environmental clearance of the factory & ensure all parameters based on it.
∎ To set objectives and targets for continual environmental performance improvement.
∎ To assess periodically and conduct all environmental tests.
∎ To address all environmental issues of the factory including ETP, Washing plant & Fabric mill.
∎ To execute & ensure the smooth operational system/process for the ETP plant.
∎ To monitor and supervise all process control parameters such as BOD, COD, DO, TSS, TDS, Ph, etc. of chemical and bio-chemical ETP.
∎ To evaluate chemical test report evaluation both for fabric and ETP outlet discharge water regarding ZDHC standard
∎ To perform Higg environmental Facility Module & working on FEM Version :3, ZDHC, Clean Chain/BVE3 & EIM.
∎ To perform Buyer’s chemical management activities such as (H&M, M&S, Inditex, Esprit, PVH, Next, George, PVH, C&A, etc.) and certifications audit like OEKO-TEX, GOTS. GRS, RCS, etc.
∎ To manage hazardous & No-hazardous waste programs including receipt, classification, storage & disposal in compliance with all applicable regulations.
∎ To implement ZDHC guidelines, buyers RSL/MRLS & conduct audit assessments.
∎ To analyze SDS & TDS (CAS No. & Restricted Substances List -APEO, AZO, Formaldehyde, Heavy Metal Content, etc.) for all chemicals of the company
∎ To analyze REACH, BLUE SIGN, GOTs, EPA, OEKO TEX100 certification of different chemical suppliers
∎ To ensure safe chemical handling, traceability, storage, and disposal.
∎ To prepare policies and documentation for EMS, EMP, CMP, and Energy efficiency.
∎ To create awareness of chemicals & environmental related issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 35 years
∎ Should have experience in facing 3rd party Inspection, Chemical Management, ZDHC & Higg FEM
∎ Should have sound knowledge of different certifications.
∎ Good leadership agility to lead & motivate.
∎ Good command of both written and spoken English.
∎ Good interpersonal & Communication skills.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative, and detail-oriented.
